Sound Installation

A sound installation inspired by night sounds. Handmade paper lotus leaves hang suspended from the ceiling & transmit sounds from above. Water-filled jars bounce light into the space, creating moving shadows & reorient perception of space. The audio is a field recording from an undisclosed location in Maine, where I spent many pre-dawn hours capturing the sounds of a lake & its inhabitants.
